The focus for the TECH Program is to prepare students for a possible position as a repair technician. Due to the complexity of our premium SUVs, the curriculum contains several courses related to electrical and electrical diagnostics. The Mercedes SUVs that we produce at our facility are very complex and intelligent vehicles. Our focus for this program is to prepare top talents that can understand this technology. The program can also lead to other positions within our production areas.

TECH by Mercedes-Benz

  • 5 Semester Program
  • Paid work hours - First semester: $17/hour. Pay increases in 3rd and 5th semester.
  • Earn an Associate degree in Advanced Automotive Technology
  • Program team wear provided
  • Focus is on Mercedes-Benz Vehicle Repair and Diagnostics

Tuition & Fees Support

  • Semester 1: 65% paid by MBUSI
  • Semester 2: 80% paid by MBUSI
  • Semester 3: 90% paid by MBUSI
  • Semester 4 & 5: 100% paid by MBUSI

Tuition support listed is based on performing at a 3.0 GPA level

Training Content

  • Advanced automotive courses at the community college.
  • Mercedes-Benz technician training with focus on electrical topics.
  • Gain experience working in repair related areas at MBUSI.

Top Students: Possible opportunity for the Mercedes Tech Apprenticeship Program.
 16 weeks of additional training for an repair technician role.
